Gamla Ullevi Arena

Norra Centrum Arena (outdoor)

Gamla Ullevi is one of Gothenburg's most beloved sports arenas. The original stadium was inaugurated in 1916, but it was later demolished and replaced by a new, modern arena that opened in 2008. In true Gothenburg humour, the new stadium retained the name Gamla Ullevi "Old Ullevi".

The arena offers a perfect platform for large-scale sporting events. It is easily accessible, located in the city’s Event District, just a few minutes’ walk from the Central Station.

Gamla Ullevi is home to several well-known football clubs – IFK Göteborg, GAIS, and Örgryte IS – and also serves as the national stadium for Sweden’s women’s national football team.
