The old Kronhuset behind Gustaf Adolfs torg is one of the city's oldest preserved buildings. It was built in the middle of the 17th century as a warehouse for the military's uniforms and other military equipment. Now it is a living cultural center in historic premises that can be used for various types of events (performing arts, music, exhibitions and conferences). Kronhuset also offers a smaller stage for outdoor events in Kronhusparken.
